Even as someone who is “newer” to Kiwanis, there’s no doubt you’ve seen the awesome things Kiwanis clubs can do. Now, for the first time ever, Kiwanis is launching a leadership program designed to grow your abilities as a leader. Registration for Kiwanis Amplify is open until April 1.
Through Kiwanis Amplify, participants will learn skills to improve more than their Kiwanis club. They’ll get the tools needed to improve communities, careers, schools — the lives of adults and children everywhere.
Participants in this program will:
Explore the value of servant leadership.
Discover personal strengths to lead confidently and successfully.
Strengthen their ability to lead in a strategic manner.
Build and manage a successful strategic plan.
Learn from experts and peers from across the globe.
Earn a certification of completion.
Participants will take a deep dive into eight leadership topics:
The qualities of a good leader.
Methods of communication.
Planning engaging events.
Promoting diversity, equality and inclusion throughout a team.
Working with others.
Sharing a message.
Planning for the future.
Staying focused.
The participation fee is $200 and gives members access to all 56 segments and related material. Individuals may pay the registration fee themselves or a club, division or district may sponsor participants for Kiwanis Amplify as well.
